About

Paragon Consulting Services founder Keith Murphy has been administrering Linux Systems since 1998. His first experience with MySQL was on a Red Hat 5 server and MySQL 3.21.X with ISAM tables. Since 2007 he has been a full time MySQL DBA helping companies run their database infrastructure. He enjoys the challenge of helping companies run smoothly and scale their business to compete in today's marketplace.

Paragon was built to provide two distinct and complimentary services. Paragon provides consultation, monitoring and operation support services. These can be short and long term operational support enagements, one time review services and monitoring implementation services. Paragon also provides training services.  This includes in house training for larger companies.

It is philosophy that it is critical that those who train are also in the field -- seeing the operational issues that a DBA will experience in the trenches. Only then can the teacher be truely effective. Because of this philosophy anyone who is a teacher is also doing operational support on a frequent basis.
